  • Sportmaster Innovation Centre is located in Singapore and has joint laboratory with Nanyang Technological University.
  • We have a joint laboratory with the School of Material Science and Engineering of Nanyang Technological University which is ranked #1 worldwide in material science.
  • Innovation Centre facilities include 4 mini-factories to produce yarns, fabrics, membranes and foams at a semi-industrial scale.
  • To ensure the good properties of developing sporting goods, Innovation Centre is equipped with first-class testers and analytical equipment to measure and evaluate static, dynamic properties of materials and even their behavior in a lifetime.
  • Staff in Innovation Centre is a multinational team of scientists and engineers with scientific degrees from recognizable universities and working expertise from large multi-national companies.
  • A significant amount of Innovation Centre projects are devoted to sustainability, implementation of recyclable, biodegradable, and bio-based materials and their application in sporting goods. We work on the replacement of classic polymers into bio-based polymers in membrane manufacturing. We develop new formulations for polymeric packaging with the application of recyclable polymers. We expand the application of different wastes and by-products in traditional footwear materials.
  • Innovation Centre closely participates in the educational process in Nanyang Technological University, working with professors, final year students, and Ph. D. students. We conduct an annual contest with cash awards among 600 students from the subject Design of Material for the best innovation in sporting goods.
  • Our research and development are deeply integrated into the academic environment of Singapore and other countries, conducting researches and studying the impact of different materials on cells, laboratory animals, and volunteers.
  • We put a lot of attention and effort into the development of smart materials for sporting goods with a positive influence on the human body, sports performance, and improving quality of life overall.
  • Creating a better customer experience, we use AI technologies and 3D modeling to provide better fitting of apparel and footwear, making digitalization of comfort.
  • We are combining the application of different IoT developments applying it to footwear, apparel, and sports equipment.
